The Recreation Therapy Department at Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center provides services to enhance overall intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth, well-being and independence. Residents are introduced to past interests/abilities, encouraged to seek out current interests/abilities, and are encouraged to avail themselves of new and future interests and abilities through a variety and continuously changing schedule of program offerings.
Because we care for people’s emotional and spiritual needs – in addition to their physical care – activities are always a part of each resident’s care plan. We strive to keep current with the ever-changing field of recreational therapy, and offer our residents the best programs we can, based on their needs, abilities and interests.

- Music Therapy
